NOT READY

Hey guys , I know it's been quite some time since I last blogged . You guys have no idea what I've been through this past month and half . I had a few episodes for those that are familiar with my blog would know exactly what I'm referring to . 
Well it's with a warm heart that i say that, things are finally looking up and I'm currently in good space . Taking it one day at a time ...
 
A week ago , I was conversing with a friend . I had text her due to a fb status that she had posted. The gist of her post was that, "it's time for a change" she'd been dealing with her ex on and off for approximately 7 years. 
Now we all know how tough it is to walk away from something you're very well accustomed to . It's extremely difficult as one can imagine. Shes currently dating here and there but struggles to let her guard down as well as receive & reciprocate love. 

You're told a plethora of times not to hurt the one you love so much as you're busy trying your very best to care for their heart you failed to notice your own was bleeding.

My response to her : it looks like you're not ready for love & there's nothing wrong with that . You might want to consider counseling to help deal with what you have endured . There are times in our lives where we are not relationship  material where we need to work on ourselves . What your ex did to you was awful but you don't want his mistakes to turn you into him (numb & heartless ) 
It would be hard for even the strongest woman on earth to deal with what you endured. What you're feeling is very normal but also unfair to you . Your ex is probably living le vida loca while you spend sleepless countless nights. Seek out some counseling or even online support groups. You are questioning your judgement when it comes to a mans character , I get it . I also get that, it's time to heal and live your life to it's fullest potential . Don't give your ex the power to rule your life from a distance . He should have no room in your life .. NONE !!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

2021 literally chewed me up and spat me out. The most trying time of my life without a shadow of a doubt.   To say it was a dark time in my life would  certainly be an understatement.  I don’t think words can fully convey how Rough it was. Conquer

He says all the right things at the wrong time. when you need him the most; he acts as if you committed a heinous crime. Yet , in the middle of the night , he beats his chest readily to divide and conquer . An art he has "coincidentally" mastered. Last thing on his mind is honoring thy heart . Why would he ? The body is easily accessible , no need to stimulate the mind and soul when you've made it easy for him to stimulate your inner walls. The body is our temple but we have settled to giving out samples. A hurdle we have yet to work hard to trample.   **** It's imperative that, women make their expectations and standards known , the more likely men will be forced to eventually oblige . you cannot expect men to know your expectations if you do not communicate it with them.
